Fintwist Is Now Corpay Prepaid — But the Fintwist Name Is Still Everywhere

The current Corpay Prepaid website states explicitly that Fintwist is now Corpay Prepaid.

That does not mean the Fintwist name immediately disappeared from cards, mobile applications or older documentation. In fact, Corpay’s current site still directs cardholders to manage money using the Fintwist App.

This overlap is normal during a brand transition, but it can be confusing for someone trying to verify whether a Fintwist card and a Corpay Prepaid website belong to the same ecosystem.

The Current Product Names

Corpay Prepaid currently presents two principal prepaid concepts.

PayCard

PayCard is positioned as the payroll product.

Funds can be added each pay period so an employee can receive wages through the card account.

FlexCard

FlexCard is described for other eligible prepaid disbursement programs such as incentives or reimbursements.

That means “Corpay Prepaid” is broader than only recurring employee payroll.

Why Existing Users Still Search for Fintwist

Branding changes faster on marketing websites than in search behavior.

Someone can still encounter Fintwist through:

  • an existing physical card;
  • an employer’s instructions;
  • the Fintwist app;
  • older Comdata Resource Center content;
  • archived onboarding materials;
  • cardholder documentation.

For this reason, the search term “Fintwist” remains useful even though the current corporate product identity is Corpay Prepaid.

It would be inaccurate to create one page claiming Fintwist disappeared and another pretending nothing changed.

The real answer is transitional.

Comdata Still Matters Too

Comdata continues to appear because the historical and operational ecosystem extends beyond the new prepaid branding.

The Comdata Resource Center still maintains Fintwist administration material connected to iConnectData.

So a cardholder or administrator can realistically see all three names:

Fintwist

Corpay Prepaid

Comdata

without having entered three unrelated financial systems.

Does the Brand Change Mean You Need a New Card?

Not necessarily.

A marketing-name change alone does not determine whether a particular physical card must be replaced.

Card status depends on the actual account, expiration date, issuer terms and any instructions provided by the program.

Corpay’s current disclosures state that the Fintwist Payroll Mastercard can be issued by Regions Bank or Republic Bank & Trust Company and direct cardholders to the back of the card to identify the applicable issuing bank. It also notes that some functions can vary by issuer.

Do not discard or replace a working card solely because the public website now uses Corpay Prepaid branding.

Why Issuer Differences Matter

A branded paycard program is not only a brand name.

The issuing-bank relationship and cardholder agreement can affect:

  • account terms;
  • available services;
  • disclosures;
  • protections;
  • fees;
  • functionality.

Current Corpay material, for example, notes that certain OnDemand, Bill Pay and person-to-person functionality is not available to Republic Bank cardholders.

That is why a generic article should not promise every feature to every Fintwist user.

Keep Using the Official Cardholder Channel Assigned to Your Account

If your existing instructions tell you to use the Fintwist app and that app remains the provider’s designated channel for your program, seeing “Corpay Prepaid” elsewhere is not by itself a reason to abandon the app.

The more important question is whether the service is verified and associated with your actual card.

For support, Corpay Prepaid currently lists 24/7 cardholder assistance and continues to reference the Fintwist app.

Do Not Treat Rebranding Messages as Automatic Account-Migration Requests

Brand transitions can create opportunities for phishing.

A message may claim:

“Your Fintwist account must be upgraded immediately.”

“You must verify your bank account because Fintwist became Corpay.”

“Send your MFA code to migrate your card.”

A genuine corporate rebrand does not make it safe to send sensitive credentials to an unsolicited contact.

If you receive an unexpected migration request, verify it independently using:

  • the number on the back of your card;
  • the established app;
  • the current official provider website;
  • your employer’s verified payroll contact.

The Most Useful Search Model

Instead of asking whether you should search “Fintwist” or “Corpay Prepaid,” search according to the task.

Cardholder account management: Fintwist/Corpay Prepaid cardholder resources.

Employer administration: potentially iConnectData and Comdata documentation.

Payroll calculation: your employer.

General paycard rights: authoritative government resources.

Our Fintwist and iConnectData guide explains those boundaries.

Why This Transition Deserves Its Own Page

The rebrand changes the meaning of the central entity itself.

It is therefore different from a minor keyword variation such as “Fintwist sign in” versus “Fintwist login.”

A user who searches “Fintwist Corpay” is often asking:

Did Fintwist become Corpay?

That question has a direct answer:

Yes—current official materials identify Fintwist as Corpay Prepaid, while significant Fintwist terminology remains in use during the transition.
